Bedroom Makeover - Case Study
Step into the realm of transformation as we unveil the latest makeover from our design studio: a breathtaking bedroom redesign for our lovely clients. Nestled in a space suffused with natural light and an airy ambiance, this project presented us with a canvas ripe for rejuvenation. Here’s a glimpse into our journey of metamorphosis and the steps we undertook to breathe new life into this space.
First on our agenda was a comprehensive assessment of the room’s needs. We identified these key areas for enhancement:
• Revamping the Layout: With a spacious yet underutilised expanse, we envisioned a layout that maximised functionality without compromising on aesthetics. Central to this was the introduction of a plush bed boasting a padded headboard, exuding an aura of indulgence. To optimise storage solutions, we integrated a storage ottoman at the foot of the bed, seamlessly blending form and function. Flanking the bed are sleek bedside tablesand well proportioned chests of drawers, curated to complement the room’s unique triple window configuration.
- Elevating the Colour Palette: Drawing inspiration from the room’s luminosity, we embarked on a journey of chromatic harmony. Opting for a neutral backdrop infused with captivating blue accents, we imbued the space with tranquility and sophistication. We introduced subtle textured wallpaper behind the bed, infusing a dash of opulence and tactile allure to the ambiance
- Enhancing Illumination: Acknowledging the paramount importance of lighting in sculpting ambiance, we embarked on a quest to illuminate every nook and cranny. Mindful of our clients’ preference to refrain from electrical alterations, we devised a lighting scheme that leveraged existing fixtures to optimal effect. Enterprising selections included exquisite bedside table lamps from Chelsom, strategically positioned to cast a warm, inviting glow.
